- Identify opportunities and establish relationships with target customers in our target verticals leading to a strong BD pipeline
- Develop and coach BD team members in the area of hard and soft skill negotiations
- Manage tenders (RFI, RFQ) incl solution design, calculation and pricing
- Act as the central point of contact for Schenker’s Regional BD team for assigned bids and tender projects
- Other projects related to the development of CL as assigned by the management
- Prepare solutions as required based on customer expectations
- Bachelor or Masters Degree in a relevant commercial or technical field
- Minimum 4 years experience in a 3PL company, thereof minimum 2 years in a contract logistics sales role. Previous experience in a line function is an advantage
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Well verse with MS office applications
- Proactive person with a drive to accomplish targets
- Analytical and creative – Attention to detail
- Able to set the right priorities for the team and self -Deliver on time and as required
- Able to analyze complex customer requirements and develop commercial and technical solutions, creating value for our CL customers
Business development team member accountable to grow the Contract Logistics business of Schenker Vietnam
Develop local CL pipeline with regular customer Interactions
Engage with DB Schenker colleagues on new business – RHO & Global BD opportunities
Provide reporting and administration in the area of Sales & Planning
Lead, guide and mentor other CL team members in the area of Business Development and bid management
