Join Our Team as an Inventory Control Team Leader!
We are looking for an Inventory Controller Team Leader to take ownership of inventory control while leading a small team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and compliance across all warehouse stock operations. This is a hands-on leadership role where you will manage stock control processes, coach and develop your team, and drive continuous improvement in inventory management.
Location: Quantum Distribution Park, Dublin
Working Hours: Mon-Fri 07:00-15:30 with 1 hour break
What will you be doing?
As an Inventory Controller Team Leader, you will:
- Lead and supervise the Inventory Control team, ensuring accurate and timely execution of all inventory processes.
- Oversee the development and implementation of the site’s inventory management strategy to minimize stock holding, maximize working capital, and drive efficiency.
- Manage and maintain stock profiles, stock locations, and perpetual inventory accuracy checks.
- Ensure effective organization of the goods-inward/stock control function to support production and customer requirements.
- Lead and coordinate planned stock takes, audits, and cyclical stock checks, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor and act on discrepancies, ensuring issues are resolved promptly.
- Collaborate closely with internal departments (Receiving, Returns, Stores, NIT, Operations) and external providers to ensure seamless flow of materials.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance stock accuracy, reduce costs, and improve processes.
- Monitor material usage, consumables, and scrap, reporting on variances and recommending improvements.
- Ensure all team activities align with health & safety standards, company policies, and compliance requirements.
About You
- Previous experience in inventory control within a warehouse or logistics environment.
- Strong understanding of stock management systems, reporting, and audits.
- Experience supervising or leading a small team, with proven people management skills.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of health & safety practices in a warehouse environment.
