Join Our Team as a Security Coordinator!

 

We’re opening a brand-new site and are looking for a Security Coordinator to make sure it runs safely and securely from day one. In this role, you’ll support site operations by overseeing all security-related matters, ensuring compliance with standards, and working closely with colleagues, customers, and local authorities.


Location: Quantum Distribution Park, Dublin

Working Hours: Mon-Fri 8:00 to 16:30 with 1 hour break

 

What will you be doing?

 

As Security Coordinator, you will:

  • Support compliance with all site security and transport security requirements.
  • Ensure site security systems (CCTV, access control, alarms) are maintained and effective.
  • Carry out regular security checks and audits, reporting results and highlighting improvements.
  • Document security events, trends, and non-compliance items, preparing weekly reports.
  • Work closely with the Local Site Security Officer (LSSO) and site leadership team.
  • Support incident investigations and cargo loss prevention initiatives.
  • Deliver security awareness training and guidance to colleagues on site.
  • Act as the point of contact for site-specific security queries and customer requirements.
  • Maintain records to ensure readiness for internal and external audits.

About You


  • Previous experience in a security role (logistics, transport, or facilities environment preferred).
  • Knowledge of site security systems and procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
  • Good communication skills, confident in liaising with colleagues and customers.
  • Ability to work proactively and take ownership of security matters.
  • Familiarity with AEO, TAPA, or aviation security standards.
  • Experience supporting audits, investigations, or incident reporting.
  • Background in delivering training or awareness sessions.
