Position Description Summary

Reporting to the Operations Supervisor the successful candidate will be responsible for the shipping and receiving within the warehouse.

Principal Accountabilities

  • Processing customer orders – including picking, packing and inspecting shipments
  • Daily communication with transportation companies and customer
  • Repetitive lifting of heavy items
  • Removing and reloading server racks from creates
  • Health and Safety compliance in accordance with company policies.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of all shipments and receipts
  • Daily warehouse housekeeping
  • Participating in inventory control and cycle counting
  • Liaising with other departments to address delivery and receipt inquires
  • Becoming an effective team member by participating in process improvement initiatives
  • Performing other general administrative / warehouse duties and tasks as assigned
  • Daily local traveling to Client site 
Knowledge and Skills

  • Completion of high school
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Minimum two years warehouse experience
  • Trained and certified forklift, with a proven safe track record
  • Must be able to continuously lift heavy items
  • Excellent accuracy and organization skills complimented by the ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Work effectively as a team player 
  • Excellent knowledge of overall warehousing process
